NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
As of 1990, a Joint resolution designated November as Native American Heritage Month. What started as an effort to gain a day of recognition for the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the U.S. resulted in a month being designated for that purpose. It is our pleasure to celebrate this month with you, honoring our ancestors and the invaluable cultural knowledge and vibrant traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation.
Today, we celebrate that heritage through art and fashion inspired by and created by Native Americans within out own community. With the theme of “Inspired Design”, our hope is that you will find inspiration through the artists that surround you and the stories their work represents.
